Tonight had a wonderful night out with my course n classmates.. some of them i juz get to know them a little more juz now.. haha.. before this is like "u-know-i-exist" fren oni.. tonight we get to chat more.. and some who usually seems quite become very talkative.. out of my expectations.. lol..

Evening our group (Group 4) juz sat for lab test.. 1st time i sat a cool lab test like this.. there’re 30 stations.. some with microscope where v need to observe the slides.. some stations placed with preserved organisms..  Well, it started out like this.. everyone was given a piece of question paper.. we need to go station by station to answer all questions. To make this test more interesting, every student took a place at any station and after 1 and half minute, the alarm will ring and whole class have to switch to their next question..

Man~~ its tension.. but kinda fun to have this test.. feels like more professional.. but preparation for this test was like hell to me.. hell lot to study.. i think is my first time to really memorize n study my lab manual.. hahahhaha….

Next week is study week edi.. hmm.. i wonder how was revision going on for all my fellow friends.. hopefully they can do well in finals.. Minna san (everyone).. Gambate!!! lol.. oh ya.. btw, i’ve juz graduated from jap class basic 1.. dun hav exam la.. but i got d cert. muahahaha.. plan to contnue level 2 next sem.. yea…

BZ bzbz bz life.. everyone has a bz lifestyle now.. All got their own activities.. new circle of friends.. new experience.. new lifestyle.. All the gatherings we had after graduation.. i can sense the difference in  everyone.. All of us had changed.. change in taste, change in some characteristics.. Well, of coz not totally change to a different person larr.. but at least ppl can tell what’s the difference now n then.. ^^

We seldom contact each ota after graduation.. but every big seasons i still receive messages from them.. shows that each of us still remember n appreciate the days we had.. (of coz la!! de~~lol)

I just wanna say out loud.. I LOVE ALL OF YOU!!! wahahahha.. okay~~ i’m crapping a lot.. mayb oso 1 of the effect of my too hectic life nowadays.. =p

Aihhz.. dunno wat am i doing these days.. i did studied.. but my results are so unbelievably teruk~! omg.. omg.. haihz.. okok i shouldn’t moan a lot..

Very sad to get such results.. i got a friend who asked me to stay tough.. well, when it comes to studies.. i juz couldn’t take it whenever i get bad results.. if average still ok.. but if below average.. Although not the first time i get such results.. but i juz couldnt hold back my tears.. T.T *sad

My way of study really got problem edi.. i think i lack of exercises.. better buck up myself n start doing more questions.. coz afta midterm.. i really realize that i’m not familiar with the questions at all! Juz went blank while test..

This sem i definitely work much more harder compared to last sem.. but my grades juz keep on degrading.. It’s juz frustrating sometimes.. If i didnt make any effort on it.. i might wouldn’t be this sad or feel the pain like now.. (haha.. but it’s impossible for me not to put in any effort..)

Feel so helpless sometimes.. ishh..

Hmm.. but that’s like few days ago when i get back my midterm paper edi.. Enough of being sad.. Tomorrow i’m sitting for the same subject again.. Test 2..

I guess i juz have to try even harder.. Giving up is never my style anyway.. =p

wow.. 17th of March 2007.. this day i shall remember 4ever..

National Choir of Malaysia in collaboration with The Dithyrambic Singers made up abt 100 ppl in total, together as a choir, we sang this awesome piece of beethoven– Symphony no.9.

This piece got 4 movements, the first 3 movements was performed beautifully by the National Symphony Orchestra (NSO). And the final movement, 4th movement.. with 4 famous soloist– Cecilia Yap (soprano); Heidrun Maria Hahn (alto); Lim Shieh Yih (Tenor); Cha Seng Tiang (baritone), standing at the very 1st row, followed by
the NSO, den finally 100 ppl choir standing at higher stage behind.. around 2 meters distanced from the conductor (Mustafa Fuzer Nawi) which standing align with the 4 soloist.

The 4 soloist has a great, powerful voice.. even while doing solo.. their voices manage to create echo in the Istana Budaya Panggung Sari. It was so damn cool.. their vocal is extremely good~~ although high pitch, you wont feel that as if it’s screaming or shouting.. n for the low voices.. their voices still can clearly be heard.. firm n strong..

The conductor conducted everybody.. n i sud say that he’s really good to be able to conduct such a big group.. lol.. he’s a strict conductor.. during rehearsals, he wont give face to anyone who’s talking while he is talking (that’s kinda scary).. he’ll juz scream straight at the face in front of everybody "SHUT UP!! DON’T TALK!!!" =="
The orchestra got scolded once n the guys of choir too.. hahahhhaha.. swt la..

Choral part for this piece  of beethoven was fabulous.. v had to sing it in german.. kinda cool~~ n i get to learn some of the words such as bruder=brother.. =P
And 1 of the soloist is from germany, Heidrun Maria Hahn, she teached us the correct pronunciation n diction of each n every word.. n also giving some brief description, so that v could picture the song, and sing it with more ‘feelings’.. hahah
She is so kind that she even gave us a master class.. teached us some crucial tactic in singing.. the correct postures, the correct way of using the abdorminal muscles, correct opening of mouth n the theory behind it… etc.

Her explanation was brief, but much more easier to catch.. glad that she shared some of her singing techniques.. after her teachings, the choir sounded more soothing at higher pitches.. or else it sounded more like screaming than singing.. hahhah..

Tonight’s performance was great.. v did much better than the previous nite.. for this project, we juz need to perform one song for 2 nights.. N 2 nite is the last night.. After the grand ending.. where this piece ended with the highest peak, the audience applauded echoed the whole hall after that.. N some of them shouting "Bravo~! Bravo~!", there are few more asking for encore.. ^^y

And 1 thing really unexpected is.. the conductor really encore.. lol.. of coz not from the beginning.. we started from half of the 4th movement towards the end.. the audiences enjoyed the show a lot, i can tell.. hehe.. which feels me with satisfaction.. after all the trouble went thru.. well, it’s worth all of it after all~~ ^^

This was my very 1st time singing in such a big group.. 100 ppl… n also very glad that i could joined this project singing beethoven’s work~

Beethoven.. you’re really genius to compose such great piece.. hahahhaha.. starting to like classical music ed now.. XD

wow.. next month i got like… 1, 2, 3.. no.. it’s 7!!! 7 friends birthday comin up!!! omg.. my pocket gonna drill a big hole man~~ juz spending for presents oni.. what more CNY comin up… i’m still in d mood of CNY shopping… ahahhaha… gals ma.. hmm… but think of it i bought enuf clothes edi.. presents part is still a big headache..

have you ever run out of ideas what kinda presents to buy for your friends??!!! aiyo.. although is best frens, sometimes juz dunno what to buy.. they seems to have everything.. headache.. ==" sometimes i’m thinking why not i juz give cash n ask him or her to buy themselves… =p save up my *what-to-buy* prob.. haha..

n now that class has started n assignments have given out.. finding a time to go shopping centres oso is a prob.. even for doin my own CNY shopping oso no time.. all replacements placed on sat for CNY holiday.. aikz..

anyway… i’ll figure out wat to do with it.. settle that later on..

hmm.. recently my housemates 4 out of 6 of us, joined UTAR’s music club.. it’s like sunddenly everyone is so into music.. haha… it’s really kinda fun.. well, i’m 1 of the 2, not 1 of the 4.. lol.. but still i get to tryout when they brought back their instruments from Uni.. so far i get to try chinese flute and violin.. violin is pretty difficult.. coz the placement itself.. believe me.. your neck feel like breaking after aquite some time.. you have to turn your head exactly 90 degree facing your left shoulder.. 0.o

chinese flute, tried many times to actually get to blow a sound.. haha.. or else all you can hear is juz air.. or airy-off-tune sound.. LOL.. all very interesting n new to me.. brinda learned the basics of drums yesterday.. n yeah.. again i get to learn from her.. ahahahah… v practise with chopsticks! ^^

our house here kinda happening recently with all the instruments n all.. hehe.. juz hope that our neighbour wont complain bout us.. hahahahahhha…

wow.. 3 months holidays juz past by in a snap.. lol…

well, starting of a new year.. a new sem.. my aim?! hehe.. a better results of course!
trying hard not to fall asleep in classes or lectures.. i’ve came up with a new strategy.. eat in class.. haha.. eat sweets, tit bits, biscuits.. etc etc. ==" well, so far it works. At least still keeps me awake.. ^^

3 months holiday.. missed it.. went to damn lotsa places.. let me see.. went to Hong Kong, Sabah, Sarawak, Penang, Ipoh n Cameron.. haha.. wow!! unbelievable!! 1st time so syok.. 1st time in my life, travelled to so many places in such a short period.. n how many times i went on d airplane a.. hmm..  6 times.. LOL!! dat’s cool.. All thx to national choir concert road tour with Zainal Abidin to Sabah n Sarawak..

Although it’s kinda tiring, cant really get to have a look around at d local places, but still get to go to visit to rumah panjang at remote places n Monsopiad cultural village at sabah, n visit to cultural village at sarawak.. certainly was a different experience.. it’s like part time job..

trip to penang with my housemate finally fulfilled.. lol.. coz was planned a yr ago.. haha.. n we went lotsa places with my penang fren as our tour guide! (special thx to ashley.. without you d trip wont b dat interesting.. =p)

visited even all d museums.. haha.. (toy muzium, war muzium..) n even butterfly park! yeah.. v’re out of my mind.. muahaha..  oh yea.. n v went to plenty of temples ^.*

wat most maddess thing happen in Penang is during christmas countdown, Gurney Drive was a total chaos!! the police didnt block d road thr, a sea of ppl with sprays pratically sprayed, yelled n dance around as if it’s d last thing ever to do.. haha.. i pity d vehicles tat drove into Gurney.. all instant victims of d party fever thr.. all get sprayed.. den on top all it, arranged with plenty of empty cans.. towards midnight.. all get pushed, or i sud say, rocked, by ppl dat’s standing along side of road!!! mad ppl.. +.+

family trip to Ipoh n Cameron to end 2006 n celebrate 2007.. it’s kinda cool coz my mother’s side.. let me cnount 1st.. there r.. hmm.. 33 of us!! ha!! wat a great gathering.. hahahahha.. i love d cool air at CAmeron.. feel soooooo fresh~~ whee… still missed it.. especially visit to tea valley.. d cool air with the light scent of tea leaves was juz excellent! ^^

things are gradually changing for me.. as life goes on, i begin to realise lots of stuffs.. which is a very good thing.. i began to seriously think what are my capabilities, what can i do now, what should i start doin, so that i can make full use of time n not wasting them on useless stuff..

during this long period of break, i did a lot of thinking, over n over again.. what’s right n what’s wrong.. and a planning has come into my mind. all of that has to be start from 2007 jan. i can say that as a new year resolution if that’s the proper words to state that.. or i might juz take it as a wild dream of mine. I’ve to bear in mind that i’ll be successful if all turns out my way, but if it fails, cant even dare to imagine the consequences.. =="

Well, i’m always an adventurous person, n i can oni study well under some pressure.. lol.. what weird gal am i.. mayb i get used to studying through the help of my own adrenalin perhaps.. haha ^^

it’s been quite a while since i post a blog..

hmm, recently having some problems.. well, my parents were against my idea of being part of thesoundblender.. hmm.. i guess all singers have to went through this stage.. Well, of coz other than this, they wanted me to quit some of my other activities too.. ==" really out of the blue..

the details dun really wanna say it here.. hmm.. coz i’m not those kind of ppl that goes against parents.. but i know what i really want n insisted on my idea.. after a whole long week.. finally..
i win this "war" of mine.. i can say that i’m really lucky to hav won! hehe. kinda relieve now.. whew!oh.. n i’m proud of it too.. hahaha.. no regrets!!!

but hopefully they wont bring this matter up again.. kinda hurtful to quarrel.. well, at least i tried my best to keep the situation in control.. =p holding back myself when i’m at the edge of exploding .. => glad that now everything is settled!!

haha.. and the best of all, i’m joining national choir to sabah n sarawak for performance! cool~ cant wait for that.. never been to both states! n i cant believe i really made through the audition till now.. hehe.. coz out of all the members, juz 23 of us are going.. ^^ i’m sure it’s gonna be an enjoyable one!

juz came bek fr Hong Kong this mon.. went there for 5 days 4 nights trip under LT travel agency. hehe.. HK is a shopping paradise!!!

lol.. bought lots of stuff! oh ya~ and the dim sum is great too.. juz that you’ll eat a hole out of ur pocket, coz all the food there are very expensive ==" the average price for a bowl of mee is RM15.. aikz..

n at ‘wong kok’ there’s a dessert shop called ‘许留山’ or in canto(hooi lau san), the mango pudding~~ omg!! is super tasty!!! 1st time in my life ate such pudding!!! haha.. =p n the 小丸子 (xiu yuen zi)also, very nice to chew.. ^^
anyone who’s planning to go to HK, don’t miss it, or you’ll regret for sure! haha..

talking about HK~ of coz not forgeting DISNEYLAND~~
a wonderful dreamland… although the park is kinda small, coz heard that havent fully open yet, mayb 4 yrs later only fully open.. but still.. seeing all the disney characters plus the shows, really like walking down a memory lane.

While watching ‘The Golden Mickey’ (they make it as if it is an award giving.. hehe.. kinda real.) with all the nominies and video clips of disney cartoons like Tarzan, Snowhite, Little Mermaid, Beauty n the Beast, Mulan etc etc.. brings back all my memories of the past, flashback.. ^^

the best of all shows is d 3D show at "Philhar Magic"~ with effect such as wind, scent (blueberry smell!) and oso water! it’s awesome!!! and the effect is so cool~  ^,*

 
it’s definitely worth going if you’re a disney fans!! great place~ n the decorations are all new coz halloween is juz around the corner! even Ocean Park oso decorated wif skeletons, witches, pumpkins.. etc.. hehe.. but for Ocean Park we dun hav enuf time to play all the rides though.. wanted to try "the Abyss" is similar to genting’s solero space shot, but it’s much more higher..heard that jackie chan’s new movie got a scene at there too! well, my mum dun allow.. lol.. n time is precious, we practically run all the while.. haha.. so didnt hav a chance to try it.. well, too bad.. mayb next time..

On the third day, v went to shen zhen, China too.. our hotel located in the middle of the city, surrounded by all kinds of shops n stalls!!! another perfect place to shop again.. haha.. n at shen zhen, everything is a little cheaper compared to HK.. ^^
One thing, the drivers there are like mad~ can you believe it, a 2 way road can suddenly looks like 1 way road.. lol.. they seems like dun bother bout the rules.. kinda scary.. n in the middle of nite, u can still heard ppl banging on their vehicle’s honk.. ><" not juz one.. few of them..
at shen zhen, i’d visited 锦绣中华(jin xiu zhong hua) or more known as 小人国(xiao ren guo), the place summarizes whole china.. all the buildings are built in cutie sized version.. hehe.. well, talking bout buildings, history of china.. the really interesting part is the 2 different shows, one at 5.30pm, another at 7.30pm, both totally different settings n story, but both equally breathtaking, n i actually stunned by their acting n performances!! it’s so so so cool.. the actors, actresses are really professionals. And the stage, omg, can make waterfall out of it, n you can feel drops of water splashing on u.. when they light the big torch, you can even feel the heat.. n after the fire perofrmances being put off.. using the smoke and with the combination of laser, the effect is great! giv u an illusion of heaven~ seriously..

By the end of the trip, my mum hav to buy another new luggage bag to put in all the stuff that v bought.. hahah.. and i’ve taken about 1000 pics.. hehe =p
